This gun performs great out of the box. I was able to do an entire op with it and no problems the whole time.

Performance?

Jordan| 7/20/2017 10:40 pm

This is by far the most amazing gun I have ever owned. Performance is amazing. Trigger reset is amazing. Weight is amazing. Everything about it makes me so happy. Works great even in CQB

love ity

ultra light metal and a really good shooter the quick change system makes it nice going form cqb to outdoor. it could use a mosfet but other than that this is the best aeg in its price range

Valken MK III

Bman| 10/16/2018 8:02 pm

Bought this gun 2 months ago. LOVE IT! The quick response trigger is really good, helps shoot fast on semi auto. I upgraded the spring to an M130. This is NOT a quick change spring system, but managable if you take your time. With the upgraded spring I am now switching to highspeed gears made for heavy springs ( in the handle of the gun) so the battery does not have to work as hard. All in all bang for your buck this gun is a 5/5. I do not like anything else but the valken guns though... the gloves, the flash loader, and other valken gear I have but has been low quality. My brother has the PDW version - Also a great gun.

Rock solid as they come!!

if this gun is anything like the MKII series its solid as a rock. Have had this for a year now and did some conversions for DMR. The only issues I have is that the microswitch trigger system doesnt appear to be in their parts inventory. if you need to replace you might well be out of luck. Another issue is the crane stock. not a lot of room to maneuver to replace your batter and the wiring can get mashed down in the buffer tube. I switched mine out for a krytac stock which has a lot more room. The only difference I can see between this one and the MKII is the 380mm barrel .vs the 280mm barrel. I upgraded 455mm /type 0 cylinder and other pieces. I use an 11.1 lipo with this without issue whatsoever and provides for a snappier trigger response (no mosfet). Reshim and higher torque motor quieted the gun down considerably nearly no whine., the stock motor cant effectively handle more than M110 spring . I recommend valken products hands down, even over krytac. Im sold for life.

gearbox info and upgrades

Ghostwalker Sniper Tech| 11/15/2018 12:07 pm

This is the platform I use for my DMR. One thing to mention about the gearbox. If you are a tech and want to put a mosfet into this gearbox it is a 2.1 version gearbox. higher end fets like the Gate Titan you will NOT be able to install it in this gearbox. The portal opening for the normal electrical selector plate does not exist, rate of fire is controlled by the cutoff lever inside the gearbox. For the light sensor to work on the gate titan a hole needs to be cut to accommodate it with a new selector plate as the stock one is metal. The stock extended trigger set up will not work with this mosfet . If you plan to install an internal mosfet get a new standard v.2 gearbox shell and keep this one as a backup. anti reversal latch doesn't seem to fit well with standard v.2 gearboxes, it is a slight bit taller and can bind up in the standard v.2 gearbox.Just things you should know,BUT I will state again, this is a solid well built airsoft AEG.

Awesome

Krytac gets shelved for my new, MK III. LOVE IT!

James McVeigh| 3/27/2019 10:02 pm

I was shocked at the performance of this machine, OOTB!! It has replaced my Krytac ,with the upgrades, as my favorite guns. Valken, ya did a fantastic job making this weapon.
